One of the distinctive elements of the teaching of Jesus is the way He expresses important truths in terms of His own personal character and mission. Easter weekend we began this walk through the seven I AM statements found in the book of John. In This series, we will continue to learn who Jesus is and why it matters to us yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

Who wants to talk about money?! As we continue our walk through the book of Luke, we will spend quite a bit of time in Luke 12 in this next series. We learn that Jesus provides some clear warnings about how we view money in the hopes of encouraging us to put our hope and trust in God in all things. He is the only one who will meet our needs and provide us our daily bread. Join us as we grow together in the series, Money.

One day, Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.” In ‭‭Luke‬ ‭11:1‬, we see this exchange between Jesus and his disciples. What Jesus teaches them in the following passages has become a powerful prayer tool for generations. We will spend time during this series learning to use this prayer.

There's just something about Christmas movies that seems to capture our hearts and keeps us coming back year after year. Is it nostalgia? Is it the feel-good endings? Maybe it's a character we identify with in the story? There is just something about these Christmas stories that pulls us in each December. These next few weeks, we will challenge ourselves to get our joy back, to love those who may be hard to love, and even to embrace where we're planted. Join us as we look to find Jesus in the script.
