We Three Kings

Lindon Faull teaches from Isaiah 49:25, reminding us that no circumstance is too dark and no bondage too strong for God’s deliverance. Through the story of the Magi and powerful testimonies of transformed lives, Faull shows that Jesus came as the heart of God sent to earth to rescue captives, break the chains of sin, and bring hope to the hopeless. The message calls us to respond by surrendering our burdens, sins, and pride to Jesus—offering our lives as a gift to Him this Christmas.

Many are saying of me, “God will not deliver him.”- Psalm 3:2 NIV

There is no circumstances, no place so dark, that God’s light can’t bring hope to anyone, anywhere!

or captives rescued from the fierce?

and plunder retrieved from the fierce;” - Isaiah 49:24-25a NIV

And your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear. - Isaiah 59:2 NASB

As for God, his way is perfect;

the Lord’s word is flawless; - Psalm 18:30a NIV

“Arise, shine, for your light has come,

and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.

See, darkness covers the earth

and thick darkness is over the peoples,

but the Lord rises upon you

and his glory appears over you.

Nations will come to your light,

and kings to the brightness of your dawn.

Herds of camels will cover your land,

young camels of Midian and Ephah.

And all from Sheba will come,

bearing gold and incense

and proclaiming the praise of the Lord.” - Isaiah 60:1-3,6 NIV

My son give me your heart - Proverbs 23:26a NIV

What a person desires is unfailing love; - Proverbs 19:22a NIV

For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength. - 1 Corinthians 1:25 NIV

I am sending him – who is my very heart - Philemon 1:12a NIV

“And you are heirs of the prophets and the covenant God made with your fathers.  He said to Abraham, ‘Through your offspring all peoples on earth will be blessed.’” -Acts 3:25 NIV

After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, ‘Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews?  We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.” - Matthew 2:1-2 NIV

When King Herod heard this he was disturbed, and all Jerusalem with him. When he had called together all the people’s chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Christ was to be born. “In Bethlehem in Judea,” they replied, “for this is what the prophet has written: … Then Herod called the Magi secretly and found out from them the exact time the star had appeared. He sent them to Bethlehem and said, “Go and search carefully for the child. As soon as you find him, report to me, so that I too may go and worship him.” - Matthew 2:3-5; 7-8 NIV

The unfolding of your words gives light; - Psalm 119:130a NIV

After they heard the King, they went on their way, and the star they had seen when it rose went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was. When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. - John 3:19-20 NIV

At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another.
