This Gen Conference is a new ministry out of The Rock Church in Conway, SC. It started during the height of COVID, giving students a smaller summer experience in the midst of crazy times, and has evolved into an event with a group of churches from both SC and IN attending. This Gen has amazing worship, gospel-centered teaching, and is intentional about students making their faith their own and owning the fact that this generation can lead the church.

This Gen Conference is our summer experience for our HS students (including currently 8th graders) for the 2023 summer. It’s a change, but one that we are so excited for our students to experience together!  

Students who have completed 8th grade by the end of the 2022-23 school year through the graduated class of 2023. In other words, current 8th-grade students through current 12th-grade students.  

We will be spending the week at Garden City Chapel in Garden City, SC, near Murrells Inlet, SC. Garden City Chapel is a Christian conference and retreat center located a mile from beautiful Garden City Beach. Garden City itself is just south of Myrtle Beach. We will be within walking distance of the Garden City Pier as well as an arcade, coffee and ice cream shops, and other local beach life.  

We at Kingsway never want money to be a reason that a student misses out on an opportunity to experience Jesus. If you have concerns about finances please contact us, we would love to work with you. We will also be launching our usual scholarship application for Summer Experience '23 by the beginning of March.   

One of the things we are excited about with This Gen is the price. The cost this year is $350, lower than in previous years! As a result, registration is being lowered to $100. The payment plan is as follows: 

• Due at Registration: $100 
• First Payment, Mon. 1/30: $100 
• Second Payment, Mon. 3/27: $100 
• Final Payment, Mon. 5/22: $100 

Due to us going to the beach for the week, the packing list will be different this year. We will have the opportunity to go swimming at the beach every day. A complete packing list will come in the spring, but students will want to be sure to bring multiple swimsuits, beach towels, and sunscreen.
