READ: Matthew 6:25-34
REFLECT: I love this passage. Do you know why I love it? I love it because my son, Nathan, loves it. He would read this story as a five-year-old and would quote it back to me throughout the day. Then at night, he would ask me to read it again. Now he’s 10, and he still says it’s his favorite, but I haven’t asked him why. I’ll have to do that. I wonder if it’s because He loves how simple it is. Animals have what they need. So do plants. And so do we. Our Father has thought of everything. Do you need that reminder today? Is there some area of your life, that worries you? Give it to your Father, and ask Him to take care of it.
PRAYER: Father, thank you that you have thought of everything. There are so many uncertainties in my life. But you are Certain. You are Reliable. And I trust that you are taking care of me. I give you _________________ today. Take it. Guide me. In Jesus name, Amen.
