COVID-19 Discussion

May 21, 2020

In Pastor Matt’s video message he shares where Kingsway is in our response to the evolving pandemic situation we find ourselves.

Per the Governor’s Back On Track plan for Indiana, we all should progress to the next stage in the coming week (stage 3). Kingsway will continue to align our response with this Indiana staged approach which is why you’ll notice our staff start to transition back to the office over this next week. We expect to learn a lot about what a “new normal” will look like for us as more Groups begin meeting in-person and other small gatherings start happening. Our COVID task force will continue to review the latest information from the CDC and our state officials to support whatever next steps are taken.

As Pastor Matt says in his video, it is important that we allow for each person to make decisions that are best for themselves and their families. Extending grace and love during this time and over the coming months will be life-changing for many and an opportunity to show the love of Jesus in those pivotal moments. It will be a sign to the world that God is moving amongst us!

Church, we love you and we miss you! Please continue to pray with and for us and each other as we all navigate these changes and challenges. If you are struggling during this time, please know you are not alone. Your church is here for you. If you are looking for community, to find people to do “life” with, we can help. Simply click here, share a little information with us and one of our staff will reach out to connect you with a group. Perhaps you just need to talk with someone because your struggle has you questioning or doubting. We would love the chance to pray with you, right now. Please let us know how to do so here.

Until next time, continue to love each other, to encourage each other, and to build each other up!

 We love you,

Kingsway Christian Church
