Updates
Through our relentless pursuit of Jesus, we want to surrender all that we have for His glory. We believe we can leverage our entire campus throughout the week to create environments where the lost and broken can experience Jesus' love. By stewarding all of our resources well, we believe we will be able to meet real needs here in Avon and Hendricks County and across the globe.
Church Planting Partnership
We are celebrating that our first church plant officially launched on September 7, 2025! There were 362 people present; people holding advanced school degrees sitting with those fighting active addictions, and everything in between, all searching for something bigger. And since this first Sunday, Artisan City has been averaging 200 people in their weekly gatherings. As of the end of January 2026, we celebrate the 16 baptisms! Join us in praising God for all He is doing in St Petersburg, FL, at Artisan City Church. What a blessing it is to support this church plant
A little background on this church plant: Chris Dew and AJ Holt are planting Artisan City Church in St. Petersburg, FL. They have felt called to serve this beautiful and artistic city that is broken and in need of the hope of Jesus. Every 43 hours, someone dies from a drug overdose in the county, and has twice the national average regarding crime with nearly 12% of people living in poverty.
Department of Child Services (DCS)
We completed the renovation of this space early in 2025, which meets a real need for the kids, families, and staff of the Department of Child Services here in Hendricks County. We have been growing this relationship over recent years with DCS, with different initiatives including the Christmas Wishlist, and now we are excited to share the DCS Safe Space. This space is available whenever it's needed, and we even have volunteers ready to help support those in need. Thank you, Kingsway Family, for your generosity! Relentless Pursuit, a local church partnership with Plainfield Christian Church, and some generous donors here in our community, helped make this idea come to life! Check the updated space in the video below:
If you are new to this amazing story, one of our previous executives, Brett Cadwell,
explains how this idea came to be in the video link.
Pathways Learning Academy
One of the biggest needs in our community is childcare. Recent data states that our county is at 98% capacity for childcare. In meetings with local leaders in the Community Leadership Council, we knew we had a real opportunity to meet this need and help families in Hendricks County find a safe and secure place for their children. In October 2024, Pathways Learning Academy at Kingsway opened! We celebrate PLA being open for over a year, and the many families who have visited Kingsway on Sunday mornings as a result.
Pathways Learning Academy (PLA) is a 21st-century preschool that incorporates STEAM (Science, Technologies, Engineering, Art, Math) into all aspects of each classroom from six weeks to five years old, setting each child up for success in kindergarten and beyond! We have been able to provide some Volunteers during their week who get to read to the kids. We are still in the beginning stages of this strategic partnership with PLA and are excited to see how we can continue to be a welcoming and safe place for families Sunday through Friday.
World Wide Hispanic Outreach
Access and transportation to healthcare for both urgent and non-urgent needs is a real problem for many in rural parts of Mexico. Our Global Outreach Partner, WWHO (World Wide Hispanic Outreach), had been using an old Kingsway van for many years to help get people where they needed to go, but it finally broke down in late 2024. Through the Outreach funds raised with Relentless Pursuit, we gave $5000 in 2025 toward the purchase of a new van to help their rural community receive the help they need, when they need it!
