Threes through Kindergarten

We are so excited about what is happening in the preschool classrooms.  Here is an overview of our activities and lessons. 

Memory verse for May: "I am wonderfully made."  Psalm 139:14              

Key Question from the Lesson: How much does God love you?  God loved everything about me.

Story Topics:

• May 4: I am special to God. Psalm 139:13-15a; Jeremiah 1:5
• May 11 (Mother's Day): God made my body. Genesis 1:26-27
• May 18: God made me to do many things.  Psalm 47:1, 86:11, 119:105; Proverbs 4:11-12, 20-22, 20:11-12; 1 Corinthians 12:14-16; Acts 9:36, 20:35; Ephesians 2:10
• May 25: God made me to praise Him. Psalm 9:1-2, 34:1, 119:171-175; Psalm 150

Our 3's thru K's classes have a take home card from our weekend services called "Small Talk." This card gives our preschool families real-life opportunities to reinforce our lesson throughout the week.  At the beginning of each month.  we send home a magnet with the memory verse on it.  We encourage you as a family to go over the "Small Talk" and memory verse each week.  Hiding scripture in a young child's is a good way to begin in a life-long discipline of reading and memorizing the bible. We have an indoor playground with slides and tunnels that the kids get to enjoy on a rotational schedule.  Here is the schedule so that you can dress you children appropriately on those days. It would be helpful if the kids wore shoes that they can put on and remove easily.

• 3's - 1st & 3rd Sunday of month during 9:00 service, 2nd & 4th Sunday during 10:30 service
• 4's - 2nd & 4th Sunday of month during 9:00 service, 1st & 3rd Sunday during 10:30 service

Rules in the Classroom

Listen to your teachers and obey them.                  
Be a good listener when others are talking.
Keep your hands and feet to yourself.
Have fun learning about Jesus!

Our Preschool Mission is to help families shape young hearts to follow Jesus. 

Our goal is for every preschooler to know that God made me, Jesus loves me and that I can share Jesus with my friends.

The 3's have a worship time during the 10:30 service.  The song list that is used during this worship time is available on the worship page.  The words to the songs are also listed.
