Technical Ministries

Audio Technicians

The goal of this ministry is to make sure that all of our modes of communication are heard clearly and without distraction. We need individuals who will invest time into making our services “sound” great!  This team is responsible for audio for weekend services and special events on a rotational basis.  Rehearsals are held on Saturday afternoons from 2-6 p.m. before Worship Services and as needed for events. Training is provided through an apprenticeship with a current tech. We use both a front of house audio technician and a monitor technician for all weekend services.

Lighting Technicians

We have been blessed with an extensive lighting system at Kingsway. This team works to create an atmosphere through lighting that enhances our communication! These team members are responsible for running lighting cues for weekend services and special events on a rotational basis. Rehearsals are Saturday afternoons from 4-6 p.m. before the Worship Service and a bi-monthly repair and maintenance night for all team members.

We are also currently looking to add at least two lighting programmers to our team. These individuals need a working knowledge of lighting fixtures and an eye for color in creating the lighting cues for services.

Media Presentation and Production Teams

The media presentation team executes the graphics and videos that appear on the worship center screens during weekend services as well as special events. Presenters are scheduled on a rotational basis with rehearsals Saturday afternoons from 4-6 p.m. before the Worship Service.

The special presentations are prepared by our Production Team. Our team members use Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects software to create videos and backgrounds for use in our services. 

Stage Assistants

This person is familiar with a variety of the elements needed to execute a weekend service.  They assist in the set-up of the worship center and coordination of the various participants during a service. Stage Assistants are scheduled on a rotational basis with rehearsals Saturday afternoons from 2-6 p.m. before the Worship Service.

Media Resources Team

The media resource team duplicates and distributes the sermon tapes and CD's of our weekend services and special presentations. They are scheduled on a rotational basis following each of our weekend services.
