If your life experience is 55 years or more, or if the nest is empty, Kingsway's Senior Adult Ministry is the place for you. Try Saints Alive! This group's monthly meeting features a variety of activities (and usually includes a meal).

500 Race Party

Tuesday, May 20, 6 p.m.

Are you ready to race?  Dress in black and white and enjoy Race Day Kingsway style.  We will have challenge races leading up to the final "500" race. Box lunches will be served at this event.  When you sign up you will need to designate if you would like a ham or turkey sandwich. 

To register for this event, visit the Senior Adult kiosk during weekend services on May 3-4 and May 10-11. 

Cost:  $7

Niagara Falls, ON Trip

September 28 - October 4

This year we will be heading out of the country and across the bridge to Niagara Falls, Canada.  The first evening we will spend along the shores of Lake Erie in Sandusky, OH.  Tuesday, we will view the mighty Niagara and Horsehoe Falls which includes a ride on the Maid of the Mist boat up to the falls.  Wednesday we travel further east to Toronto and tour a castle.  Thursday will be spent as a leisure day at the quaint town of Niagara-on-the-Lake.  Friday we will travel to Jamestown, New York to the Luci-Desi Museum & The Desilu Playhouse.  Saturday we will continue our journey back to Indiana.

Cost:  $725 - includes motor coach, sightseeing tours, lodging, breakfasts, some lunches and dinners.  A deposit of $250 is required when you register.  Balances are due by August 10.

Passports are not required for this trip but you must have picture identification.

Tuesday Afternoon Bible Study

A Bible study for senior adults meets every Tuesday at 1 p.m. in Room E107.  Paul Calloway will lead a study on the book of Hebrews.  For information, call Paul at 837.0941.  

Showers of Blessing 

If you enjoy lifting your voice in song, then Showers of Blessing is looking for you. This group travels to an area convalescent or retirement community each month to share and encourage through song.

Friday, May 16, 9:30 a.m.

Showers of Blessing will encourage the residents of Lakeview Manor with hymns and fun songs.  Don't worry about your singing voice, just come and have a good time.  For more information, call Sheron Alexander at 271.1556.
