Missionary Prayer List

PASSPORT FOR PRAYER

The Passport for Prayer is your invitation to start praying around the world for our missionaries. Recognizing that it is easier to pray for someone if you know what to pray for – much like buying a gift is easier if you have a “wish list” to select from, we have asked our missionary families for their current prayer requests which are provided below. Please pray for the following:

Aaron and Angie Arnold (Chile, S. America)

  • Aaron's thesis project, rough draft due in March.
  • Angie finishing homeschooling with Mazie and Sofia.
  • Spending time with friends as we prepare to leave.
  • Selling our things and getting the house ready to leave Chile and relocate to Fort Myers, Florida.
  • For balancing ministry and family.

Pastor Destine and Pastor Monas (Haiti)

  • Praise: A relative peace has been restored. Traffic is back on the streets. People are doing their business and no gunshots can be heard.
  • Praise: Life is back in the city of Port-au-Prince. The Christian Church is back to two services and it is packed.
  • A friend who visited the work donated $20,000 to build a top-floor apartment for doctors and visitors at Fonds-Parisien. She donated an extra $20,000 out of which we bought a vehicle for the health care center.
  • Pray a friend is about to secure over 60 acres of land for a donation to the mission to build the university and tabernacle at Fonds-Parisien.
  • Stephen has seen Destine and Monas. They are doing fine and working hard.

Ernesto and Olga Fuentes (Mexico)

  • Praise that the medical equipment shipped in June 2006 has finally made it.  Pray that medical clinic will open soon.
  • For preachers at la Bisnaga, Saltillo, Hidalgo Nuevo Leon, Tabasco and Cuba.
  • For the weekly radio program.

P.V. and Molly John (India)

  • Praise: For the team from Kingsway that visited Care India in the last part of February. It was such a great blessing! (The team was blessed as well!)
  • Pray for the girl's home. They plan to pour concrete the first week of April and need good weather.
  • For the right people to help and run the girl’s home.
  • Pray for P.V and Molly as they make preparation to come to Kingsway in May. P.V. will be preaching at our Mission Conference.
  • Pray Molly will be able to obtain her visa in time to come.

Eric Nyador (Ghana)

  • Praise and thank God that I and my church Good Shepherd Christian Church, Bastona have become a part of the Kingsway Christian church family.
  • Thank God that the Good Shepherd Christian Church is in its third year and things are gradually moving in the direction of the Holy Spirit.
  • For spiritual breakthroughs so that there will be some turnover in the economy so that we can support the Lord's works.
  • Pray for the 23 from Good Shepherd that are prepared spiritually and physically to travel to Salaga for the National Easter Convention March 20-24.

Joshua Leme (Myanmar)

  • PRAISE: Everything here is perfect and things are going well!
  • Medicines were brought for the clinic. What a great blessing it was!
  • A 67 year old man recently died who was converted from Buddhism 4 years ago. Pray for his wife.
  • Myanmar Christian Mission has been very good in meeting the needs of me and my wife. They also provide money for rice to feed the poor.
  • Pray for the local church that is building a new place of worship. They are sawing the wood by hand with a hand saw.

Saffa Fahmi (Egypt)

  • Praise God for the increasing fruits and blessings as we look back. “The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with Joy” (Ps. 126:3)
  • Another year has ended 2005, and we are working hard and will never stop because we need to tell everyone in the Arab World about God’s Love, and His Salvation and His promise for eternal life with Him.
  • We train about 2,000 church leaders every year. (Elders, Deacons, Sunday school teachers, women, youth, etc). After they are trained they need employment and financial support.
  • We were able to more than double our distribution of Bibles amounting in the grand total of (1,719). We want to do the same this year.
  • We are in great need of a Bible College.
  • We are training leaders from Syria, Iraq, Kurdistan, Jordan Israel, and Egypt.
  • Pray to complete our Audio Room.
  • Two strong stations will be helping us organize our Arabic programs. World Christian Broadcasting and Gospel Broadcasting.
  • We work in the rural areas with village and home churches.
  • Bible Correspondences Courses. We correspond with 3,509 students all over the Arab world.
  • We have a Benevolent work, a Mentally Handicapped work, a work for teaching illiterate to Read and Write.
  • I long and desire to be able to publish a Christian Magazine.
