Students Team Leader | Grades 5-12

    Mark Notter

Mark joined the Kingsway staff in 2000. He leads our ministry to students, grades 5-12.

    Born: June 23, 1974
    Home town: Gallipolis, Ohio
Family: Married to Shelley and dad to Hope, Sophia and Cadee
    Favorite Bible verse:
    Philippians 2:5-11; Jeremiah 29:11; Matthew 16:24-25
Alma Mater: Kentucky Christian University and Emmanuel Seminary
Favorite musicians: David Crowder, Hillsong United
Favorite movies/TV shows: Anything from National Geographic that highlights the beauty and complexity of God's creation, A Time to Kill, Shawshank Redemption, Batman Begins, AFV, and TV Bloopers.
    Worst habit: Forgetfulness.
Confession: When I was a little boy, I used to take my neighbor's cat and throw him as high as I could to see if it was true that cats always landed on their feet. I'm sorry, Fluffy.
Favorite food: Pizza, really cheesy with lots of pepperoni! (I'm a youth pastor. What would you expect?)
Favorite memory: The day at Junior High Camp that I truly surrendered my life to Jesus. My wedding day. The birth of each of my three daughters.  When I heard my name called as a contestant on The Price Is Right gameshow.
My hero(es): Jesus. PV and Molly John and all of the pastors and workers at Care India. Their sacrificial life and lifestyle is humbling.
My greatest love: My family. Youth Ministry. Chocolate chip cookies. Ohio State Football. Cream Soda. Standing on high places and looking out at beautiful scenery
If I could have any super power I'd ... fly!
If I could travel back in time I'd ... want to see exactly how God created everything. I want to see the Red Sea part for Moses and the Hebrew people. I would want to follow Jesus and hear him teach. And I'd like to see the birth of the church.
I'd rather be ... with my family, climbing a mountain or strolling the streets of Disney.

    Sarah Kenworthy

Sarah joined the Kingsway staff in 2008. Her primary responsibility is to support ministry to Kingsway's students, grades 5-12.

    Born: July 1, 1985
    Home town: Plainfield, Indiana
    Family: Married to Scott
    Favorite Bible verse: Philippians 4:6-7
    Alma Mater: Johnson Bible College
Favorite musicians: Dave Barnes and Coldplay
Favorite movies/TV shows: Dan in Real Life, Elf, The Office, Friends, and The Cosby Show
Worst habit: I have to shut the closet door in the bedroom before going to sleep. I think it traces back to fears I had as a small kid of monsters living in the closet.
Confession: I've never used the drive up window at the bank. I have no idea how to use the mysterious air tubes that take your deposits in and out of the bank. I'm afraid I will somehow mess it up.
Favorite food: Calzones at The Tomato Head in Knoxville. If you've not had one there, then you've not truly lived!
Favorite memory: When Scott first said he loved me while we were slow dancing to Dave Barnes music under the stars on a warm Arizona night.
My hero(es): Baking soda. I've recently discovered this is one of the most powerful ingredients and cleaners in my kitchen. Thank you Arm and Hammer!
My greatest love: Seeing Jesus' love, grace, patience, and leadership exemplified in my husband.
If I could have any super power I'd ... have super-human strength. I'd be able to open a jar of Prego all by myself.
If I could travel back in time I'd ... want to see what my grandparents were like as teenagers. I love hearing stories about when they were young.
I'd rather be ... curled up in a comfy chair reading a book while listening to my favorite music and drinking the world's best mug of hot chocolate.
My bucket list: (1) Visit Maine. (2) See a musical on Broadway. (3) Be a mom. (4) Celebrate a 50th (or 60th or 70th) anniversary with Scott.
