It is a well-known fact that the number of needy families living in Hendricks County continues to grow. Many of these needy families cannot afford health insurance and have limited resources to meet their needs.

The mission of the Kingsway Community Care Center is to extend the love of Jesus Christ through meeting the practical needs of the underserved in the Hendricks County community. This mission is carried out by trained medical and dental professionals who serve with an attitude of Christian mercy.

The center is an initiative of Kingsway Christian Church; however, it is an independently incorporated non-profit organization positioned to utilize volunteer citizens.

Who does the center serve?

The Kingsway Community Care Center is open for those who do not have medical and/or dental insurance or assistance.

What is the scope of service?

The center provides care for non-urgent acute medical/dental needs and provides assistance in the management of selected chronic medical conditions.

Who staffs the center?

The staff is comprised of professional and lay volunteers from the Hendricks County and surrounding areas who share a concern for the underinsured. This team includes physicians, dentists, nurses, medical assistants, pharmacists and clerical volunteers.

What other services are offered?

The center also connects those in need to the appropriate social, financial, legal and spiritual services.

Fees

A small sliding scale fee is charged to patients.
