Events/News

Lisa joined the Kingsway team in 2006. She leads the ministry team that cares for Kingsway kids from birth through grade 4.
Born: March 30, 1984
Home town: Lebanon, Indiana
Family: Married to David
Favorite Bible verse: Psalm 37:4
Alma Mater: Johnson Bible College
Favorite musicians: Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble, Dave Barnes
Favorite movies/TV shows: Big fan of The Office. My favorite movie is Sleepless in Seattle.
Worst habit: I am addicted to the $1 Diet Coke drinks at McDonald's and find myself in their drive-thru lane quite often.
Confession: If I am in the McDonald's drive-thru lane for my Diet Coke and it is really long, I will park, run in and buy my drink as fast as possible so I can beat the cars in front of me in the drive-thru lane.
Favorite food: My mom's homemade spaghetti, yum!
Favorite memory: We were scheduled to get married at Kingsway but the day before the wedding the church lost all electricity and we had to make the decision to move it to another church - on the day of the wedding. It was awesome!
My hero(es): My dad is probably one of my biggest heroes just because of who he is. He is a wonderful man and someone I am very proud to call my father.
My greatest love: My husband is my best friend and greatest love. He knows just how to make me laugh, build me up, challenge me in new ways and even push my buttons just to aggravate me for fun.
If I could have any super power I'd ... fly. How awesome would it be to just fly over everything and sit at the top of a tree just because you could!
If I could travel back in time I'd ... go back to when David and I were just little kids so I could better prepare myself for the mayhem coming our way someday when we become parents.
My bucket list: (1) Do a 60-mile (or longer) bike ride with my husband. (2) Eat M&M's till I puke. (3) Never go one day without some kind of laughter in it. (4) Hike in the Grand Canyon. (5) Ride an elephant ... I just think it would be cool!Lisa Johnson 317.272.3402

My hero(es): 1. Paul 2. Wayne Gretzky 3. Dietrich Bonhoeffer 4. Reepicheep from the Narnia books.
My greatest love: First and foremost is Jesus, who has taught me to love. Next has to be my wife and best friend who has loved me sacrificially for nearly twenty years. Finally, Jake and Molly who fill my life happiness.
