Instrumental Ministries

Praise Bands

Praise Bands work together with Praise Teams on a rotational basis and assist in leading worship for services. Most bands consist of piano, keyboard, acoustic, electric, and bass guitars, and percussion. Some instrumentalists play by ear, some read charts, and some read musical scores. Because of the nature of this ministry, an interview process is required. Rehearsals are held on Saturday afternoons from 2-6 p.m., prior to the Saturday night Worship Service. 

Orchestra

If you play an instrument come join us!  The Orchestra accompanies our services and works with our vocal groups for special presentations and seasonal events.  Rehearsals are held 7 p.m. Wednesday evenings.  Players should own their own instrument and be able to read music in a variety of keys.  A minimum age of 15 is preferred with at least 3 years of playing experience.

Ensembles/Soloists

As with our vocalists, throughout the year many different soloists serve Kingsway in different ways, and at times throughout the year ensembles are “built” for various occasions. While most of these ensembles and soloists are drawn from the Orchestra and the Praise Bands, we are always looking for people who are gifted in worship and talented in music and have a heart for serving the Lord.
