Matt, Rachael and Mathias Nickoson moved to Avon, Indiana, in the summer of 2009 to join Kingsway's staff.

Before coming to Kingsway, Matt spent 10 years on staff at Rocky Mountain Christian Church in Colorado. His most recent role was lead pastor at Rocky's satellite campus in the town of Frederick. Matt left behind a thriving ministry to join the staff at Kingsway. And, the Nickosons' faith has been rewarded over and over as God has affirmed the call he has given them. 

God has confirmed that Matt is the right man for the job by providing a tremendous degree of unity in the Kingsway family. Kingsway's pursuit team was unanimous in its recommendation to the elders. The staff and elders have been unified in the transition as it has unfolded. And Kingsway's members voiced their approval of Matt's transition into the role of lead pastor by a vote of 99 percent!
