Core 4 Serve
Meeting the needs of others in Jesus' name
"For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many," (Jesus in Matthew 20:28).
We are so excited that you have an interest in using your time and your talents to serve others. Service is, after all, one of the essential elements of the Christian lifestyle. We take servants seriously here at Kingsway because we know that they are the fuel behind virtually all of the programs, events and ministries that happen here seven days a week.
The Core 4 Serve element is not just about what you do. It's about the kind of person you are becoming. It's about what you do when no one is looking. It's about what you do when your neighbor is in need, when someone asks for help, when you feel God prompting you to stop and give your assistance.
We'd like to help you plug into serving opportunities at Kingsway and in the community. And, even more, we'd like to help you become someone who serves like Jesus. Here are some tools to get you started:
- Learn more about spiritual gifts
- Discover your spiritual gifts
- Visit the Serve page to connect to serving inside and outside Kingsway's four walls
At Kingsway, we've placed serving at the core of what we're about as a church and it is at the core of what we're encouraging people to become.
God created you to serve. He set the example in the life Jesus lived. He has gifted you to make an impact along the way. And, if your eyes are open, he'll give you opportunities to be his hands and feet every day of your life.
