Junior High Challenge (7th - 8th Grade Summer Camp)

Date: July 13 - 18 

Cost: $200 (First 60 Registrants) $240 (Regular Price).  If you are in need of financial assistance, please click here for our scholarship application.  All applications are due by May 18.

Junior High Challenge (JHC) is a conference specifically tailored for 7th- and  8th-graders and held on the campus of Kentucky Christian University in Grayson, KY.   This will be our 7th year for Kingsway's 7th- and 8th-Grade Ministry to attend JHC.  We generally take 50 to 60 students and 10 to 12 adult youth staff. 

If it works for your family's calendar, we ask that you send your junior higher to JHC as a first choice and to Camp Allendale as a secondary option.  By all of our students attending JHC, it allows our youth staff to connect with our students and allows our students to bond as a "youth group."  

CrossOver Surge // Sunday, June 1 from 6-8 p.m.

We would like to invite you to Crossover Surge on Sunday, June 1, from 6-8 p.m. (Childcare not available). This night is specifically for all our upcoming 7th - 8th-grade students and their parents. The evening will include free pizza, chips, candy, and pop.

Our goal is two-fold. First, we want to welcome into and introduce the Surge Ministry to our up and coming 7th-graders and their parents. Second, we want to equip parents with helpful information about the Surge Ministry and resources that we hope will be helpful in parenting your Junior High child.

While the students are experiencing Surge, we will take the opportunity to introduce all parents to the 8 checkpoints - the principles your child will learn over the next year through the 7th - 8th Grade Ministry. We will also show you how you can reinforce these same principles at home using our online resources. Our calendar of events will be available as well as other important resources to help you as a parent of a young teen. We will show you how you could be involved, and most importantly, we will have an open forum for you as parents to give us ideas and feedback for Kingsway's 7th - 8th Grade Ministry.

We pray that this will be both a very informative and enjoyable evening for you.

Student Impact Teams

The Student Impact Teams (SITs) continue through May 21.  All 7th- and 8th-grade students are welcome to come and be a part of this exciting program.  There are many different teams you can get involved in.  For more information and the breakdown of teams, please click here.
